NSP Scholarship Registration

The National Scholarship Portal (NSP) is a one-stop digital platform provided by the Government of India that hosts various scholarships offered by Central Ministries, State Governments, and UGC/AICTE.

Documents Required

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Bank Account Passbook (must be in the name of the student)
  • Educational documents (Marksheets of previous exams)
  • Income Certificate issued by the competent authority
  • Caste/Category Certificate (if applicable)
  • Domicile Certificate

Step-by-Step Registration Process

Step 1: OTR Registration

Visit the official NSP Portal (scholarships.gov.in). Click on 'Student' and then 'OTR Registration'. You will need to authenticate using your Aadhaar number and the mobile number linked to it.

Step 2: Generate Reference Number

Complete the e-KYC process. After successful verification, a One-Time Registration (OTR) number will be generated and sent to your mobile.

Step 3: Login to Apply

Go back to the homepage and click on 'Login'. Enter your Application ID (OTR) and password. Fill out the application form with your academic details, select the relevant scholarship scheme, upload required documents, and submit.
